CAA regulations require us to carry out a pre-flight risk assessment. Before any task a pre-flight risk assessment and site survey must be carried out and documented, usually being carried out remotely from our office.
Depending on the type of task and location a physical visit may be required. The Droneoligist reserves the right to request site access before completion of a risk assessment and to refuse a booking based on the grounds of no access to carry out said risk assessment.
When you do get in touch with us, please use what3words on the button below to give us an accurate location of your task along with a brief.
The UK and Ireland are notorious for changeable weather that can affect filming conditions. Weather data will be monitored for up to 5 days leading up to an aerial shoot. Should bad weather that could prevent our drones from flying be forecast, we will you contact within 48 hours of the event to reschedule a suitable date.
The Safety of the drone operator and public safety is paramount. We will never put our operators, members of the public, animals or physical infrastructure at risk by flying in bad weather.
